A private guided tour in Morocco gives you your own car and driver guide for the whole trip. No other travelers join you. In Fes and Marrakech, a licensed local guide walks the medina, the old walled city, with you. You choose the pace, the stops and how long you stay in each place.
Our tours are fully guided, but different people guide you in different places. On the road, your driver guide explains the history and the land. They also find good photo stops and help with menus and prices. Inside the medinas, only licensed guides may lead visitors. So on tours that visit Fes and Marrakech, a licensed city guide joins you there. In the desert, camel handlers from the camp lead the ride.
A group tour costs less if you travel alone. A private tour gives you control of every day, and the price gap shrinks as your group grows.

A sedan with a driver costs from about 1,700 dirhams a day (about €155, or $180). That rate, from a 2026 price guide, includes fuel and tolls. A 4×4 or minivan costs about 15 to 30% more. On our tours, the car, driver and fuel are already in the price.
Yes. Every tour is private, so you can add a night, skip a stop or change the order before you book. You can also ask your driver for changes on the road. If a change affects hotels or the camp, we tell you about any price difference first.
It is your choice. Your driver guide can walk with you, explain each stop and share meals with you. If you prefer space, they will give you time alone and wait nearby. Tell us your style before the trip, and change your mind on any day.
Tips are not required, but most travelers give them. Many give a private driver 100 to 200 dirhams (about €9 to €19, or $11 to $21) per day. A licensed guide often gets 100 to 150 dirhams for a full day. That is about €9 to €14, or $11 to $16.

For most couples and families, yes. You set the pace, eat where you like and choose a quieter camp. The price per person falls as your group grows. For 4 to 6 travelers, it can come close to a group tour. Solo travelers on a tight budget may prefer a group trip.
