Casablanca Full-Day Guided Tour

You will be picked up at 9 AM from your centrally located Hotel/Riad in Casablanca in an air-conditioned vehicle, with your own private guide that will accompany you throughout the entire tour.

○ You’ll begin with a visit to the stunning Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and the third largest mosque in the world that non-muslims are allowed to enter. Able to accommodate up to 105,000 in prayer, this marvel of modern Moroccan architecture is the work of hundreds of expert craftsmen from around the country, many of them donating their work.
○ Visit the “Old Medina”, which is only around 200 years old (new compared to those of Fes and Marrakech).
○ The Habbous, Casablanca’s “New Medina” was built in the 1930s by the French. Here you can get a bit of a taste of some art deco architecture. It is a pleasant place to seek out crafts, including an olive, vegetable and spice market.
○ Stop by the Royal Palace, one of many scattered throughout Morocco. The impressive facade is a marvel of intricate mosaics and carvings, manned by dozens of guards.
○ Explore the Mohamed V Square.

Side note:  we will take a midday break around 1 PM for lunch.
