Day 1Marrakech - Essaouira

The Essaouira excursion from Marrakech involves a drive of around 2 hours 40 minutes from Marrakech to this delightful old coastal town. There is a lot to see and do along the way.

Your 2 days trip from Marrakech to Essaouira starts at 8 am! your driver will pick you up from your accommodation towards the Atlantic coast to the well-known Mogador Essaouira through Chichaoua, the only region in the world where the Argan tree and goats bottom of magnificent acrobatics show and located at 170 km from Marrakesh ( Except during Ramadan and Eid times, when you may not find goats ). Visit the Argan Oil cooperative. Lunch in the port of Essaouira, and free time to discover the Medina and its monuments including the former Mellah (Jewish Quarter), the Scala and the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah Museum and finally we recommend that you watch the beautiful sunset the sun and a glass of tea on one of the main squares with cafes. Essaouira is famous for wood crafts and enjoys the Souks of the Essaouira Medina deemed the cheapest Morocco. Dinner and overnight at typical Riad in the Medina comfortable with the double room including shower.

Day 2Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast, we head to the beach of Sidi Kaouki, just 30 km south of Essaouira lies the relaxed, sleepy beach town, well-known for being a top surfing destination in Morocco. Bask in the rustic charm of this quiet fishing town and surfing hotspot as its long, sandy beach is an ideal location for intermediate surfers as well as surfing experts seeking an adventurous challenge. Camel and horse riding are also popular along the coast and Sidi Kaouki has a relaxed, bohemian feel that goes along nicely with the white-washed buildings along the beach. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by a visit to the Cedarwood cooperative and Thuya and back to Marrakesh in the late afternoon. The 2 days tour from Marrakech to Essaouira will be coming to an end as we drop off to your accommodation. We truly hope that you enjoyed your trip with our team!
Please note: There are more activities much more than just camel trek. Horseback riding, hot air balloon or quad bike riding are a few other activities that you can choose from or bring some cards and board games to bond with your travel companions. Some camps also offer hammam and/or massage treatments to guests in specially equipped tents.
