No trip to Morocco is complete without a visit to the Chutes Ouzoud also known as Cascades d’Ouzoud. This incredible 110m tall waterfall is one of the most breathtaking in the world, located about 150km northeast of Marrakech and It’s a common Excursion d’une journée for travelers to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech (or any city for that matter). The falls are fed by the Bin El Ouidane Reservoir and in late summer, they slow to a trickle. Our main purpose on this full-day trip is showing you the best of what it has to offer such as walking trails, tourist-friendly places, relax, and to get out of the heat while enjoying some delicious food in this magical environment.

This is your full-day private trip to Cascades d’Ouzoud (Ouzoud it means olives); At 9 am we will meet you at your hotel and drive east for a nice day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. For around 3 hours we will make our way through vast and fertile fields covered with olive trees. In wintertime, the High Atlas Mountains are covered with snow whereas in springtime plants and flowers dominate the horizon. In summer Ouzoud Waterfalls becomes a favorite attraction for local Moroccans seeking fresh air.
The forest around Ouzoud Waterfalls is home to a colony of Barbary apes. There are walking paths as well as cafes and restaurants along the falls so when we arrive the call is yours whether you want to take the stairs or the local guide will take you for a hike through the olive trees down to the waterfall. You can take a swim in some of the ponds, at your own discretion of course! or a ride on the boat to get close to the waterfall or just enjoy the view. “Wild” monkeys also inhabit this area, while they’re cute – keep your distance. They’re quite used to people and aren’t very good with boundaries. There are lots of small restaurants overlooking the falls where you can enjoy lunch and they serve delicious Moroccan food.

In the afternoon we will take you back to Marrakech and drop you off at your hotel where the end of our service and the Ouzoud full day trip.
